Ingredients
  1. Garri 3/4 cup
  2. Okra - 15 fingers
  3. Tomato Paste - 4 tablespoons
  4. Meat (beef/chicken/pork)- 4-5 pieces
  5. Onions - chopped
  6. Hot pepper- 1 (optional for spiciness)
  7. crayfish- 2 tablespoons
  8. Palm oil- 3 tablespoons
  9. Smoked fish
  10. Spices (maggi, ginger, salt, thyme, 'all spice')
  11. Mussels (optional)
  12. Water - 2 cups
Okra
  1. Grate the okra completely (some people prefer to slice it).
  2. In a pot, boil the meat in 2 cups of water till properly cooked. Spice it for flavor
  3. Add the Onions, Pepper, Crayfish, Smoked fish and Mussels, and leave to boil for 10 minutes on medium heat
  4. Stir in the tomato paste and palm oil and cover the pot for another 10-15 minutes
  5. Mix in the grated okra. Depending on your preferred consistency, you can add 1/2 cup - 1 1/2 cups of water.
  6. Simmer on low heat for an additional 15-20mins
Eba
  1. Boil some water.
  2. Pour 2 cups into a bowl and evenly pour the garri into the water
  3. Remove any excess water from the garri and using a wooden spoon, beat the mixture until it forms a smooth paste
  4. Serve both on a plate/in a bowl and use your HANDS!
