So the other day, I was thinking about what to write on my “About me” page, and I googled “nice about me pages”. There’s some pretty creative stuff out there, and for a moment I was tempted to copy some of it to jazz up this page. But it doesn’t really scream out “original” on my part, so I decided against it.
Instead, let’s imagine we’re in an AA (alcoholics anonymous) meeting – except not for alcohol, but for food, so maybe ‘Foodaholics Anonymous’ (FA)? So I’ll start by saying: HI, MY NAME IS ABBY AND I LIKE FOOD. A LOT.

I cook a lot and blog about random tidbits of my life. But my main goal for this website is to showcase West African recipes in an appealing way for the purpose of globalization.
Not-So-Random Fact: My very first word was “food”. Seriously. I used to be slightly embarrassed about this fact, but over the years I’ve come to love and embrace it because food is clearly a significant part of my life.

That’s all I have for you now (you know how slow we are to open up in these Foodaholics Anon meetings). Stay tuned for more revealing foodaholic facts.
